The following information will assit you before you make your booking as well as before you arrive at your accommodation.

Lost property is kept for a maximum of 4 weeks and then donated to charity. Please ensure you take all items home with you.

The Hunter Vallay is a rural location and as such, certain phone carriers have limited service. Most guests find Telstra is the best carrier for the region.

We do have a limited number of pet friendly properties available which will allow for outside dogs. You can view these properties by using the Search feature on our Accommodation page. To ensure the properties are maintained to the highest standard, please note that dogs areĀ NOTĀ  allowed inside the houses, and must be confined to the outside fenced areas provided. Additional cleaning costs will be incurred for failure to adhere to these rules. Due to Cessnock Council restrictions, cats are not permitted within The Vintage.

Check-in is from 2pm and checkout is at 10am. We will always try and accommodate an early arrival and late departure for you, however, they cannot be guaranteed and can only be confirmed the day of your arrival.

A local transport company Rover Coaches does run shuttle buses to and from most major concerts and events. You will need to contact them directly for all bookings, pricing and information regarding the transport. Contact Rover Coaches Here

A 50% deposit is required within 48 hours to secure your booking. Payments can be made by credit card and direct deposit. Please refer to your booking confirmation for credit card and direct deposit information. The balance of your deposit is due 1x week prior to your arrival or, if you are staying during an event/concert weekend, your balance will be due 4x weeks prior to arrival.

With live availability and pricing, it is easiest for guests to make an online booking however if you do not have access to the internet, one of our staff can assist you over the phone. To ensure it is fair for all guests, only online bookings will be accepted for the major concert/event weekends. See our What's On page for information about Hunter Valley Concerts/Events. You will also receive a booking confirmation via email from our office.

One of the many advantages of our holiday houses is flexibility. Imagine you've fallen in love with a specific house (it's not hard to do) accommodating 8 guests HOWEVER your group only has 6 guests making the house a little out of your budget. Some of the owners have agreed to lock off one bedroom and bathroom to make your stay a little more afordable as you wont be using that room. Conditions do apply, for obvious reasons this offer doesnt apply for event weekends/public holidays AND must be booked in advanced (e.g You cannot check out and ask for a refund because one couple didnt turn up).

Surrounded by the award winning vineyards and restaurants of the beautiful Hunter Valley, The Vintage is located in the suburb of Pokolbin. The Vintage is only 90 minutes north of Sydney and only 30 minutes to Newcastle suburbs along the Hunter Expressway making it a perfect weekend destination!
